Education at the museum

As five times winner of the Sandford Award for Heritage Education, the museum has a proven record for providing quality educational activities for Reception, KS1 and KS2.

We provide fantastic value for money with every tour led by a professional Museum Educator. We also offer a discount on full day tours for Cannock Chase District schools.

Due to the Tier 3 guidelines the museum is closed and therefore we are not offering school tours in the museum. However, we are offering a loan box service until we can run school tours. If you would like more information on this service please contact museumofcannockchase@ihlmail.org.

Prior to tier 3 restrictions we were running our two flagship tours, World War Two - On the Home Front and Toys Through the Ages and we are constantly reviewing how we can adapt and reintroduce more educational tours and activities, so if you do have a specific tour or activity in mind please do get in touch and we can discuss our current offer.
